I was always involved in club sports growing up. I loved being on a team with friends and challenging my physical abilities through competition, so it’s no surprise that I fell in love with Crossfit! I love getting to be part of a community of like-minded people, all striving to better themselves through fitness and health. As the nutrition coach at Burg, I get the privilege of helping our members improve their relationship with food, reach their health goals, and, most importantly, educate them on how to create a well-balanced lifestyle. We have all heard the phrase, “you can’t out-train a bad diet”, well….. It’s true! I teach members that your gym time is 1 hour out of your day, but what you do those other 23 hours is even more critical if you have goals to reach!
